I am an 87 year old retired City of Ft. Lauderdale police, #0107, detective sergeant and always agile on my feet, on the job. A few years ago I started losing my footing through my balance coordination. My wife insisted that I change my shoe style and try the heavy duty looking Zebra with the arch support that was made just for my shoe size. Wow, she is the smartest lady I have ever married. I can tell you that since I started wearing Zebra a few years ago, I have not fallen or come close to falling wearing such a strong, reliable shoe. Wonderful step in comforting

These Zebas are my fourth pair. Hands free step in is so helpful. Great comfort, look snazzy and can fit my ankle orthotic. Very stable too. I’m so happy to have found Zebas. No other shoe for me.

Best Work Shoes for the Firehouse

For years I have bought Sketcher steel toe sneakers. Due to the plastic heal they would not last very long, because at the firehouse I constantly stepping in and out of my steel toe sneakers putting on my bunker gear. These steel toe slip-ins resolve that issue of the plastic heal breaking reducing the life of the shoe. I would highly recommend these to anyone in the fire service. I would only ask Zeba to consider sending a pair of all black laces so they look more professional.

Attractive comfy sneakers

My husband has extremely wide feet and one is wider so having the adjustable laces is necessary. He can't bend over easily so the slide in concept is important. For the price I was surprised that the leather isn't real but it looks like real leather. This is his second pair and his last pair has listed for several years. Fit is great.
